Freefloat FTP Server |
The Freefloat FTP Server is Freeware. Use it free of charge to upload files to and manage your wired and wireless devices.
No user or password required. Start it and the drive is immediately shared. Beware of that you should not share your drive on any unprotected network, like the Internet.
Install and run it on any Windows device with Windows 2000/XP or Windows CE/Pocket PC. Use it for file transfer and easy device management. |

Installation |
Download the installation file from the link to the right.
Freefloat FTP Server supports the following platforms: - Windows 2000/XP (Intel x86)
- Windows CE/Mobile (ARMV4, ARMV4I & x86)

Configuration |
No configuration is required. The services defaults to port 21 as standard FTP. The entire drive (C:) where the program is started from is shared. No user authentication is possible and none is required.
You can change the default port number if you want but it is not saved. |

When the server is started, all you see is the small icon in the system tray. Double clickning that brings up the simple interface seen here to the left. There are three buttons: - Unload - exits the server and closes any sockets.
- Stop - halts the server.
- Start - enables the server, for example after changing the port number.
